About Gemma…

“A rising star indeed, Gemma is just as much at home on stage with guitar as she is driving her Dad’s tractor working the farm” – Aussie Grown Radio Station
Gemma Tiller is born and raised on her family's sheep and cropping property on the outskirts of the Clare Valley in rural South Australia. Living and working as a 5th generation farmer and contributing to her family’s sheep and cropping enterprise, working with horses and dirt bikes, the country lifestyle runs in her veins teaching her the value of a hard days’ work and to appreciate the value of the land.

“I met Gemma last year when she attended a songwriting retreat, which I taught at. I heard her sing on the first night, and I knew I was witnessing a rare talent. She has a strong, mature voice that well defies her age and the authenticity to back it up. Having grown up on a rural property in South Australia, she lives what she sings about. She’s the real deal. Watch this space.” – Angus Gill, Golden Guitar-winning singer/songwriter.

Gemma is a 2 x graduate of the CMAA Academy Of Country Music College in Australia's country music capital, Tamworth; graduating the Junior Course in July 2023 and the Senior Course in January 2024, and has played and co-written with many Golden Guitar-winning artists.

“Gemma is a remarkable young singer, and I’m sure she will achieve great success in her music, or whatever she chooses to pursue in life. It’s a pleasure to work with such a dedicated and talented young artist” – Lyn Bowtell, multiple Golden Guitar winner and Gemma’s mentor.

Inspired by artists such as Chris Stapleton, Zach Bryan, George Jones, and Jayne Denham, Gemma's brand new, self-titled EP features 4 of her original songs and a bonus track, currently exclusively available on CD only!

Her debut single 'Unanswered Prayers", released in February 2020, spent ten consecutive weeks on the International Country Thunder Chart, including a stint at #1.

Gemma’s second single, a cover of the LeAnn Rimes classic ‘Blue’, showcases Gemma’s stunning vocals, Nashville’s Stuart French on guitars and bass, and Mick Albeck on fiddle, real country music at its best! The music video for Blue was filmed in Noosa, Queensland, shot and directed by Golden Guitar winner Michael McCartin from RagTag Studios.

Some of the artists that have inspired Gemma to create her own unique style include Chris Stapleton, Patrick Droney, John Mayer, Alan Jackon, Tyler Childers, Brooks & Dunn, Zach Bryan, and Luke Combs.
